Sure, just name it differently on the R line: in this example the PFILE's 
format name is REWSRCH.

  A          R REWSRCH1 
  A                                      TEXT('SEARCH OUTPUT FILE') 
  A                                      PFILE(AWSRCH)

Is it possible to have a Logical file with a different record format name 
than
the physical that it is over?  Looking for a different way instead of 
renaming
the record format name in the RPG.
