Calling programs from programs in SSP is a pain in the butt. It really is an add-on, added well after the introduction of the AS/400. You will want all your formats in one source member; it makes a lot of your troubles go away. You will also need to rename every file used more than once. The OCL is a mess because of it. I'm going through this right now. I'm looking at the idea of doing the new work on the native side and reaching the data through DDM. _______________________ Booth Martin boothm@earth.goddard.edu http://www.spy.net/~booth _______________________ "M. I created an inquiry program that I'm calling. Both are WORKSTN programs. When returning to the original program and an attempt is made to output a screen format an error is received (SYS-1301 or 1304?) What are the limitations? I made it work by putting the called program's screen format into the first program's screens. Is there any way around this?
