We have several customers with similair setups. Some are 494Es, some are TCP/IP some DLC for the connection. The Perles are both Local and Remote and OS are V4R2, R3 and R4. Anywhere from a few devices to 16 full twinax ports. No reports of problems. I can't verify the Perle software version specifically but they are current. Are there any other devices on the LAN that are dropping? You have multiple 594s and they are all doing this?? My first guess would be some sort of LAN problem maybe or maybe not on the AS/400.
