Use the FTP extensions to perl, it works like a charm (if you are comfortable with perl, of course) you can get it from http://www.CPAN.org or there may be a free program like wget for the PC that will work in batch mode, you can just specify a URL and download it like this: wget ftp://as400.mydomain.com/mylib.lib/myfile.file wget ftp://as400.mydomain.com/mylib.lib/otherfile.file ...etc. hmmmm...in a quick look on the net, I don't see any free (or shareware) ftp clients that advertise batch mode compatibility. There has got to be one somewhere! However, doing it in perl is totally free and pretty simple. I'd write the script for you if you are willing to download and install perl and the FTP extensions for perl (not a hard thing to do).
