Hi,
i'm a unix-geek turned as/400 geek by my company.
i just downloaded the perl distro for AS/400 and want to use it. It
looks like that went okay, as I'm able to say from qsh

/qsys.lib/perldist.lib/perl.pgm -v

and it prints the output of perl -v as expected on a unix/windows
system. one thing that I'm confused about though, is why we don't seem
to have any of the UNIX utilties mentioned in the README for the perl
distro.

to wit, at one point in the readme, it says to make your life easier use
'ln -s' to make a 'symbolic link' to the perl program in /usr/local/bin
or whereever. i didn't know that symbolic links were supported at all
(even in the IFS) when i try to say 'ln' it says command not found. in
fact it's that way for any conceivable unix utility. until now, i
thought that un*x utilities would not be included on the AS/400 because
it's not a unix machine, but it seems I am missing something. how do I
get the utilities?
