I have maxed out Excel at about 20,000 rows in office 97 SR2. It used to be
10,000 rows or so.

One option you might look at is creating a *.bat file to run your *.RTO file
and schedule this on your NT machine. You will have to tweak the signon
process a bit, but you can get there from here.
