MessengerPlus from bytware.

We are constantly finding new ways to utilize the software. For example
just a couple of weeks ago a department head asked if he could be
notified by e-mail if a certain process failed. We set up messenger
plus to monitor a message queue and filter the messages. We then setup
a pager type of email for the department head. Done.

Also we use it to automate operations. For example the file full
message (record not added) - we set up to automatically increment up to
3 times & to page us at the same time. This way if there was an
oversight in setting the max records up it doesn't kill the system but
if a program starts looping it won't kill the system either. Either way
we quickly find out that there is a problem.

They also allow you to monitor NT servers but we are not using that
product.
