As you all know that the LIC (licensed Internal Code) whose function is to absorb the dependencies, and has being separated with the OS/400 by a high level instruction interface which enables users to be independent of hardware and the device characteristics which is known as TIMI (Technology Independent Machine Interface). Can anyone explain me this function of dependencies by LIC with some example, where it's used in our daily work...how to know that (during work at some point of time) its doing its function....etc. Any information is welcome and is greatly appreciated. Thankyou Ravi
