Sudheer,

DB2 is on Linux too! Lawson has finished porting its' unix
software to DB2.

Some AS/400 helpful keywords for this are:

DRDA
DB2 CONNECT
DATA PROPAGATOR

and I I can't remember or test it here, but I think
that if you have your RDB directory set up; you
can:

STRSQL
DISCONNECT *ALL
CONNECT (RDB name)

and use SQL.

Dear All,
While I was browsing through the web, I came across some site and there was an
offer of FREE TRIAL version of UDB for Windows 95/NT and OS/2. I ordered the CDs
and recd them .. I installed the product both on the Windows NT and Win 95
platforms... but I could not make a clear idea of what it is all about...
I wanted to know if any of you have gone through these CDs and help me out how I
could connect my AS/400 database using this product...

Thanks in advance..

Regards,
Sudheer.
