I meant the taskbar was "born" only in the sense that it was added to Windoze. We all know MS hasn't really had too many ideas on their own -- except perhaps Microsoft Bob <g> -- but my point was that they actually did do usability studies. And they proved that Win 3.x was no good and that other people's ideas (eg a taskbar) were better. So they stole them too and "innovated" them into Windoze...
