I'm not denying that Win95 has a place in the average
home.  The problem arises in the fact that most novices
don't stay novices forever.  For more experienced
people (such as computer geeks like us), that interface
can be a real pain and seems primarily designed to slow
us down.

That's another thing that's always bothered me about the
Windows world - for Win to be at all usable, you need to
install lots of 3rd party gadgets.  I've never had to do
that with OS/2 or Linux!
