I was showing a simple app to some people yesterday and the first question I got was, "How does this compare to VB for performance and size of executables?" They also wanted to now how large the runtime support was. My book says to plan for 4-5 floppies for the runtime files and 1 for the application? Is this pretty accurrate? The runtime support is multiple DLL's that are about 6mb and a normal application under 1.3mb? Obviously the size of the application is going to vary based on what is does. Is there a guideline anywhere to help judge PC requirements for your application?
