Group,

I have reported this problem to IBM through the
Fax support line. I haven't heard back yet. I ran
a RCLSTG last night and ended up with 36 damaged
objects, all but 3 were system objects. That did not
fix the problem. I also went through my audit journal
very carefully and nothing pops out as a potential
cause. If I submit a job and specify the user
profile QPGMR I receive the following message:

MCH1001 Escape 40 01/16/00 06:53:57 #auexcpt
          000A74 QCMD QSYS 0094
Message . . . . : Attempt to use permanent system object
QPGMR without authority.

Cause . . . . . : You tried to use the permanent system
object QPGMR without having the correct authority.

I can prevent this error by giving *PUBLIC *OPER rights to
QPGMR *USRPRF. QPGMR jobs still fail if they try to create
a user space at the same line in the same #AUEXCPT pgm.

Thanks for any insight.

David Morris
