Debbie,

The PSP's stand for Preventative Service Planning. Ordering these will send
you documentation on all AS400 problems by machine type, any ptf's in error,
and stuff like that. It won't send you the ptf's themselves. It's a good
idea (although laborious) to go through the list and identify those problems
that might apply to your system, then either order the individual ptf's or
get more info about the problem. I believe IBM do a faxback service that
uses a copy of your system config & ptf list to sort the 'wheat from the
chaff' - this may be a better option but i have no experience of it.
SF98xxx is the list of software 'bugs'
MF98xxx is the list of hardware 'bugs'
SF99xxx is the cumulative PTF (hardware & software).

Best bet to understand what the PSP's are is to order them via ECS. The
documentation is stored in a member of QGPL/QAPZCOVER.

Feel free to holler if you need any more help.

Regards,
Stuart
