Hmmm.  Robot certainly has advantages over the standard AS/400 scheduler.  
"Learning" jobs and allowing job dependencies not least among those 
advantages.  They also have several problems for those of us concerned with 
security (sticking libraries in the system portion of the library list and 
requiring QGOD authority) which, rather than address, they seem to have 
merely ceased participation in this list after receiving too much criticism.  
F-Keys and action codes are also nonstandard.

I've seen BRMS work quite well in several BPCS environments (I administer the 
BPCS-L forum on this domain), and would not rule it out as a reasonable 
alternative.  BRMS has its problems as well, including the fact that IBM 
seems to think that a PTF is the solution to every problem.  In the latter 
case, sorry but the darned thing's been working well for six months on the 
_SAME_ OS/400 release with the _SAME_ hardware with _NO_ PTF applied, why 
would a non-Y2K-related PTF help us now?

Evaluate each, and decide which is best for your environment...
