Assuming you are up todate on all the other Y2K actions and your environmentals ( Temperature etc.) and electrical are "assured" stable then it might be OK to leave them on unattended.
IF I were not required to run 24 X 7 my option would be to 'shut down' as there could be several erratic and repeated Electrical problems or surges [beyond the wildest dreams of the 170s UPS]. This could be caused by Joe & Jane Q Public as they react to Y2K causing many phone and electrical anomalies. NOW if your system takes an unscheduled hit it is Y2K on your watch .
EXAMPLE:
here in the Northeast, If One were to lose the heat but retain the electrical service[ none of which is directly under your control] it would be prudent to think the AS/400 disk drives MIGHT get real cranky - seize and damage would occur.
The AS400 design engineers might have thought of this situation but we do not truly want to test it ourselves.
Give the 400 a full week end off
