Well - that's not the whole story.  Management Central is available with
both Client Access Express V4R4 and Client Access 95/NT V3R2.

If you are using the Client Access Express version, you must be connected
to at least one AS/400 on your network that is V4R4 to be the central
system.

If you are using the V3R2 version, a V4R3 or V4R4 system can be the
central system.

The endpoint systems in either case can be V4R3 or V4R4.

Management Central must be installed (go into Selective Setup and make
sure you selected it under Operations Navigator) and the Management
Central server must be running on the AS/400's.

The answer is Yes..... and  NO. Pretty confusing, huh?
The Management central machine must be at V4R4, but other attached
machines can
be at V4R3.
