When you do a DSPFD for a file to the screen or spool file, you see two Record Capacity fields - one at the top of the report and one under "Member Description." We've found that if you answer the error message when the file is full to extend it (either with an "I" or a number of increments), the second record capacity is increased, but the first stays the same (Conversely if you do a CHGPF, both record capacities change). I've tried all the options to DSPFD to an outfile and none seem to contain the first record capacity. Is there a way to retrieve this and write it to a file?
