This is the same thing that happened to us. 13GB drive on a new 170. We kept
getting media errors, so we had the drive replaced twice to no avail.
Finally, we just accepted the fact that it needed to be cleaned every couple
of days. No problems since - except the high cost of cleaning cartridges.
