Re: Forcing PTF order to CD

Since the PTF save file is a different release/version you cannot SNDNETF
it.  But you can FTP it to the V4R3 system.
I used to do this all the time withe our V3R2 and V4R3 system.
The only thing you need to be carefull about is any pre/co-req PTF's.  they
won't come along when the ptf is ordered
to a "wrong" version system

Is there any way, through ECS, to order a PTF and force it to ship on CD? I
have a machine at V430 that does not have an ECS modem and I wanted to
order
the PTF through a machine with V410. It downloaded the file to QGPL on the
V410 machine, but since it is an up-version file I'm not even sure if I can
save it to tape.

Any thoughts? Thanks!
