Steve, As I understand it, IP over Twinax requires a special twinax card in your PC...or at least a very new one from IBM. With ethernet cards costing about $30 each (lower if you shop), it would probably be cheaper to just go ethernet. Then you can use the free peer-to-peer networking that is part of Win95/98/NT and are well positioned for other stuff down the road. And as a bonus, you do not have to deal with twinax any more! Ethernet is much easier to deal with.
