You need to buy more expensive twinaxcards (IBM 5250 Express) for your pc's
and when talking about "LAN-attached" printers I guess You will hardly find
any IP printservers made for twinax-attachment. In my opinion this is a
dead end, the right thing to do is to start building a well-structured
network built on common technology.

Are there any practical limitations in the TCP/IP over twin-ax
implementation in the AS/400?

Are there limitations on the number of TCP/IP connections that can be made
through the twin-ax port on an AS/400 vs the number that can be connected
over ethernet or token-ring?
