I'm actually doing it myself. I have two sessions going. At this point I copied my own user profile to test. Then logged in as Test as tried the UPDDTA ARFILECHK. And got the error. Then I go to my other session, log in as myself. UPDDTA ARFILECHK and can browse the data fine. I even had Test recompile the logic, but same result. I guess I'm just going to have to have test recompile the physical file and see if that changes anything. Mighty perplexing.
