OK, some of the people around here are trying to enter the 20th century (we are not worried about the 21st century yet <grin>).Anyway, we are starting to use some lower case data for proper capitalization. They are used to being all caps for everything. Some of you have already surmised the problem. In standard hexadecimal, lower case letters all sort ahead of upper case. Is there a really simple answer to make lower case sort equal to upper case? I know I can use a lot of ALTSEQ statements, but it seems there should be an easier way to handle this for all system sorts and such. Could an AS/400 English Major (or not an English Major) help with this?
