Hi Wayne you need to give *RX authority for QTMHHTTP against all those
static object unless *PUBLIC is granted at least that. You have two profiles
which are used by the webserver QTMHHTTP which accesses the static objects
for you and QTMHHTP1 which runs your CGI's.

Thanks to everyone who helped.  I've managed to serve up the 1st page.
another question:
Does every object in the folder have to have authority granted? Can't I
just grant authority to the folder.  I am still getting the infamous 403
error when I try to view images imbedded in the html.
