I'm exploring this now, and creating fancy pages without using DDS and changing your application requires AFP Utilities. However, if your application just requires front (and back) overlays, the free product will work fine. I wish I'd read the manual quicker! First create an overlay using your favorite PC app, >print it to the AFP Driver supplied with client access (you will need to >change the properties to indicate you want to create a file of overlay >type). This will create a file on the PC that you will need to copy to the >AS400 - I use a 1024 byte file created without DDS on the 400.
