01=Display selected IPL - Somebody was maybe about this but miss to press 
'Enter' on the console panel

Do the function 'Lamp test' to check for HW errors in the display.

3) 
Look in DSPLOG for the msg CPI0C04 "IPL from machine area ##MACH#B". The last 
'B' indicates from which 'side' the last IPL was actually done. A or B? Both 
should work but 'A' does not include temporary 5769-999 PTF's. Something else? 
Something to continue your research with.
