We signed up at the end of 1998 for a three year prepay.  The best move I could
have ever made.  Now I just need to remember when the darn thing expires.

It was a relatively easy sell to management.  My biggest problem is most of my
previous releases were made in conjuction to hardware upgrades so management
never really saw the line item for release charges.  I always 'hid' them to
avoid the battle.....

Basically, my presentation was if we wanted to stay current this was the cost.
Fortunately, there was a long list of neat things in V4 to help sell the idea.

We took the three year software subscription plus went from a 620 to a 720
upgrade.  It was a good deal I don't regret it at al.
