Greetings all...

This is to introduce the debut of the EVENTS@MIDRANGE.COM listserver.
This will be a moderated listserver for use of the general midrange
community to announce events of general relevance to the world.

This list is open to all Local User Groups, Common, industy, IBM and any
other groups that has a midrange related event that they wish to announce.

However, to recieve the announcements, one must obviousely be SUBSCRIBED
to events@midrange.com.

Please allow 24-36 hours for your event to be posted. My
personal resources are becoming paper thin to the point that I'm
regretfully having to let a few slide, but I feel this is important enough
to get rolling...

Users can sign up by going to www.midrange.com and taking the selection
button to signup. This option will be on the web page shortly, so look
for it.

People wishing to spam or harvest email addresses from this list will be
stomped on as hard as they are on the midrange-l, etc...sans question or

Also, let me take the opportunity to remind you of the www.events400.com
web page. Between this web page and listserver, the industry now has the
resources to make its events known...

Folks, these are resources for you to use. Make the best use of them.

BTW, spam is not allowed....:) No appologies...:)
