Excuse my ignorance.  There's no way to attach a pressure sensitive
label of any kind?


No PRACTICAL way that I have found.  Any label I have used will foul up the auto-loader, which makes the repair call to fix it billable!

Will IBM send tapes on 3570?  Are 3570 tapes totally unique, or 1/2"
cartridges, or what?

No, IBM uses CDs.
