We went from a 3570 to a 3590 because of the second problem. We had to have
IBM transfer our data off of the 3570 tape onto other media for vendors (and
vice versa) because even companies who specialize in tape-to-tape
conversions didn't do 3570 tapes. We do not have the same problem with the
3590s.

Excuse my ignorance. There's no way to attach a pressure sensitive
label of any kind?

Will IBM send tapes on 3570? Are 3570 tapes totally unique, or 1/2"
cartridges, or what?

Thanks.
