  • Subject: Create DDS on a PC from a DIF

Hi,

Does anyone know of a program that will create DDS on a PC from a DIF
file. I have a data base DIF file on a PC and would like to transfer it to
an AS/400 via Client Access. Client access wants an FDF file in order to
transfer it. If I had the DDS on the 400 I could create the PF and
transfer an empty file to the PC to create the FDF file I need to transfer
the data back up to the 400. I know Paradox will read the DIF and
create a TXT file of the field names and field lengths. It would be nice
if there was a way to dynamically create either the FDF or the DDS from
the DIF file.

TIA,

Gary Kuznitz
