It appears to me that this is controlled by a data area, UNDELA.  Or
at least on my system, this data area has x'00100F' in bytes 1-3.  And
when I change the data area it will scan up to the data area + 1
records before reporting it didn't find a deleted record.

Even at 99999 it could take several iterations in a file with 2
million records.  But you gotta remember this thing is running
interactively.  I'd suggest you lower your run priority before trying
a large scan factor.

To get above 99999, or to display only undeleted records, you'd have
to modify the source.  But since he provides the source, you could do
that too.  However, in that event I'd also suggest changing the CPP to
save then lower your RUNPTY, and restore it later when using the
default interactive OUTPUT(*).
