You also may notice new IFS files grow faster than old ones.  We have 
determined that IFS files in recent releases consume 2 1/2 times the disk 
and tape space as they report to your desktop!  IBM says that this is for 
performance purposes.  Sounds like the WASTEDASD command to me.

Other than the IFS issue, V4R4 is another outstanding release of OS/400.  I 
am told that it has more new lines of code than V4R2 and V4R3 combined.
