We upgraded a development system about a month ago to V4R4 and will upgrade
a production system from V4R2 to V4R4 on 8/21 weekend. The primary
justification for the upgrade is V4R4 has fixes only available in this
release relating to backup issues with a large number of objects in the IFS
(600,000+). also other IFS fixes. Have not experienced problems with V4R4
in development, however it is development and not production.

Know of a company that just took delivery of a 720. What did IBM load? V4R3.
V4R4 was not even discussed during any negotiations.
