15 lines? 9 will do if the alpha-content is valid numeric
If the old file is named 'FILE' and has a record format 'REC' and then - before 
creating the new file - is renamed 'OLDFILE' the nine lines look like:

FFILE    O   E                    DISK
IOLDREC      01
I              FIELD1                          OLD1
