You can script ftp commands in a pysical file and then do a file override to
the
ftp command:

CRTSRCPF FILE(MYLIB/FTPCMD) MBR(FTP)
add commands using DFU or whatever..
OVRDBF FILE(INPUT ) TOFILE(MYLIB/FTPCMD) MBR(FTP)
STRTCPFTP RMTSYS(MYAS400)
 DLTOVR FILE(*ALL)

If Bill Gates had a dime for every time a Windows box
crashed ... Oh, wait a minute, he already does.

Oh, dang, not the answer I expected at all. I already knew about
PC FTP scripting. I was hoping I could script the FTP client on the
AS400 side.

I dont have the FTP service up on theAS400 and really don't want to
have to bring it up. I was hoping that the FTP client on the AS400 had
scripting capabilities, so I could FTP to an NT FTP server.

Thanks for your timely response,

Jim Langston
