Mike its actually better that the object is stored in the root IFS as its a byte stream file system rather than being in QSYS, which makes it faster to serve. The database link will then allow you to put constraints against the object so it cant be deleted as it exists in the database. I am also quite happy with it being SQL only and look forward to the functionality.
