Bob,

All the responses to your question so far appear to have missed the boat.  If I
understand you correctly, you want to disable certain users' ability to run a
query interactively.  It sounds like you really don't want to be burdened with
the responsibility of monitoring the system for interactive queries and then
changing their running attributes; I know I wouldn't!  ;-)

There _is_ a way to _disable_ interactive queries from ever starting in the
first place.  Unfortunately, I am unsure how to accomplish this, as I
experienced this restriction in a shop I haven't been in for several years.
Hopefully, someone else here in MIDRANGE-L can pinpoint it for you.
