One of our FoxPro developers is rewriting part of our EDI system.
He needs a method to check if a process is active. He has requested
that this be an ODBC solution (no ADO). The only idea I've had that
seems plausible is a log file that stores job starting and ending
timestamps for the process he wants to monitor. Any other ideas?

Please respond to the following address as I'm taking a few days
off for my wedding. All ideas are appreciated.

     TIA
     eric.delong@prodigy.net
