For the unitiated, there are several of these projects currently
running world wide.  See  http://www.distributed.net for another (more
successfull) example. (check out the RC5-64 Stats for lbolhui@ibm.net
- that guy is doing pretty well!)  Their goal is to break (crack)
encryption keys by brute force using all those computers over the
internet and they have several victories already.

Other projects are GIMPS (Great Internet Mersenne Prime Number Search)
working on calculating bigger Mersenne prime numbers (the largest is
currently over 2 million digits long and was found on a PC!!).  PiHex
which is calculating ever more accurate levels if Pi.  And of course
there is the calculation of Optimal Golumb Rulers (don't even ask!).

So far I can't get Distributed.Net to do an AS/400 client but I have
volunteered to help them do one.  It runs in C++ so how tough can that
be!!  ;-]
