Hmmm, interesting yes? A couple of thoughts:

1. You don't need to load the entire Client Access code base on the PC.
You can just load PC5250 or the Express version of Client Access, I
believe. This might save you some disk space on the PC.

2. What about doing a manual IPL? I'm not sure about this, but there
might be a way to get signed on and give yourself authority to the
device. Shot in the dark...

Don't you wish IBM would give us reverse ARP just to get a telnet
session going during install ??!!
