        While not always the case, this would not surprise me !  Remember
that with CITRIX most of the work is done local to the processor and
complex, and only the screen images are being transferred across the wire.
So if you have a very I/O intensive application CITRIX can load and run it
locally faster than you can transport it across the wires.

        Also, in this same area, LAN connectivity can factor in a great deal
as well.  Each Server may be a standalone segment off a switch for high
bandwidth access. While your user population is contending for bandwidth on
a large segment with lots of collisions taking place.
