I'm having a problem printing 15 cpi AS/400 reports on HP Laserjet 4 remote
printers connected via *ip (as described in the outq descriptions). The printed
output does not fit on an 8.5 by 11 page as it should. It appears that I am
not getting 15 cpi, as a portion of the right-hand side of the report falls off
the right-hand side of the page.

When I configure the remote printer as connected via *sna , the report prints
fine.

I have been told that I need to create a workstation customized object and
attach it to the outq descriptions in order to get the *ip setup to work
correctly. I have tried this, using the MFRTYPMDL *HP4 as the starting point
(rtvwscst) for my customized object. Unfortunately my new object has not
changed the printed output.

Has anyone experienced the same problem printing 15 cpi reports on a remote
printer connected via *ip, and been able to solve the problem? If so, would
you tell me how you solved the problem.

Thank you in advance.
