Using Brad Stone's (thank you) excellent example on customizing a workstation object, I have been able to get 15 CPI AS/400 reports to print correctly (17cpi) on an remote HP4 connected via *IP. My remaining problem is that while this works for reports in landscape, I cannot get it to work for 15 CPI reports in portrait. Example: I have compiled a *PRTF with PAGESIZE(88 127) LPI(8) CPI(15) OVRFLW(88) PAGRTT(0). The report should be reduced (to 17cpi) to fit on 8.5 x 11 portrait, using the same workstation customized object used for landscape reports. I was forced to use PAGRTT(0) to prevent the report from printing in landscape. One problem is that no reduction is being performed. I am expecting a pitch of 17, which would allow the report to fit in portrait orientation. Since there is no reduction, the last columns of the report drop off the page. This problem does not occur if I allow the report to print in landscape, which for some reports is not an option. Another problem with our reports in portriat using *IP is that sometimes the page breaks occur in undesirable locations (ie; what should be the last 3 lines on a page end up on 3 subsequent pages, 1 line per page.). Anyone experience similar problems that they were able to solve? Thank you in advance. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
