I have not worked with MS proxy, but I did just setup access with wingate. I
did not have to change anything on the AS400 (TCP was already on AS400 for
local network). But there where a lot of ports (can get them if you need
them) I had to setup (in wingate) for client access to work, most other
telnet software only uses port 23. Can not get WSG to work, it keeps sending
back the AS/400 IP address and different ports after you signon (port 5061
will get signon screen). Had a little problem with FTP uses port 21 and 20
(port 20 does not show up in netstat until you do something in FTP). would
like to know if other ports are also used went back to default for FTP in
wingate and it worked, when I tried setting it up myself got error 525 on
dir command in FTP session. Anyone know what this error is?
