On one terminal I used to use there was The Key. I kept pressing it and it did something terribly annoying. I don't remember what the key was, but the solution was easy. I popped off the keycap (friction fit with 'bumps'). Then I inserted a few carefully tailored bits of eraser into the keycap and replaced it. The key would not react to a casual bump, but a press with extra pressure would compress the eraser and make contact.
