HELP! I am trying to use hyperterminal to send a file to our bank. The
user's PC where this is used from worked for about a week, then he started
haveing trouble. Once it connected it couldn't grab the file- the file#
box in the upper right corner keeps increasing 1,2,3.....100 until the user
finally cancels. The bank says everything is fine on their end and it is
probably some trouble with their modem. This sort of made sense since I
could run the same program from my PC and get the file no problem. (The
program resides on our IFS so we are both using the exact same program.)
However yesterday I could not get the file it did the same thing to me just
looping. Today I can't even get a connection to the bank, yet another
person can!!!! Does anyone know of anything that can set your modem out of
wack so that hyperterminal doesn't work or had there senarios happen to
them. I'm clueless on what is causing the problem.

One thing I was getting sometimes when I tried to start the program my PC
would lock up. If I did Ctrl-Alt-Del it showed me that Winoldap was not
responding. I do not know what this is. This is not however happening on
the other PC that is having trouble.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!
Thanks,
Angie.
