Loyd,

Is there a particular type of document that you are going to barcode?

The easiest way to create Barcodes is using the BARCODE DDS keyword using
an externally defined print file & an IPDS capable printer. You can read
about it at:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com:80/cgi-bin/bookmgr/BOOKS/QB3AUI01/4.6

in the DDS Reference Manual:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com:80/cgi-bin/bookmgr/DOCNUM/SC41-5712-01/CCONTENTS

from the OS/400 Printer Device Programming manual:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com:80/cgi-bin/bookmgr/BOOKS/QB3AUJ02/CCONTENTS

Hope this helps!
