I did not mean stylistically crappy, or difficult to maintain, or poor design. Rather I meant the ease with with bad Windoze code can trash the system. It is extremely difficult to UNINTENTIONALLY bring an AS/400 down -- and even difficult to intentionally do it. And since when did code that crashed a Windoze system force a developer into fixing it? Only when people stop buying and using it will it get fixed -- or the fixes are bundled as a new version! Users expect computers to crash -- that's what they do isn't it? -- and until users demand better quality software (and of course, are prepared to pay for it) we'll continue to suffer at the hands of the marketeers. Ahh, my spleen is vented now, I shall refrain from further posts on this subject -- at least until the bile builds up again.
